Consignment Terms & Conditions
Suburban Revival appreciates your business and as one of our valued customers, we are committed to selling your vintage items at the best possible price. So that we may operate efficiently, we ask that you comply with the following policies:
CONSIGNMENT TERMS: Suburban Revival accepts consignment items Mondays by appointment, and reserves the right to refuse any item for consignment without cause. Suburban Revival will make all reasonable efforts to sell consigned items but does not guarantee the sale of any item.
All consignments are at consignor’s risk. Suburban Revival is not responsible for loss or damage to consigned items due to, but not limited to, fire, water, theft, vandalism, or negligent handling by customers. PAYMENT: The consignor will receive 50% of the final selling price.
Consignors are paid at the beginning of every month for items sold the previous month. Consignors may accumulate credit for items sold which may be used towards purchases at Suburban Revival.
MERCHANDISING: Items will be displayed at Suburban Revival’s discretion. Items may be removed from the floor at any time and for any reason. Typically, items will be displayed for approximately 3 months.
PRICING: An itemized list of accepted items will be sent via email to the consignor detailing all items being consigned and the price they will be sold for in the store and online. Please note, that items to be sold online, will be subject to fees associated with Etsy. These fees are approximately 10% and will be added to the online shop price only. The final sale price, including fees, will be split 50% between the consignee and consignor.
This list will be emailed to the consignor no later than 3 business days following the initial receipt of items. Following the receipt of this email, the consignor must respond within 2 business days to reclaim any items for which the set price does not meet their approval. If the consignor does not contact Suburban Revival within two days, the items will be made available for sale as priced.
MARKDOWNS: After 90 days, the price will be marked down to half the original selling price. Additional discounts may be offered during a Holiday or for special in-store events. These discounts will be split with the consignor.
MERCHANDISE PICK UP: A reminder will be sent to the consignor to pick up unsold items.
ITEMS MUST BE CLAIMED WITHIN 10 DAYS OF THE NOTIFICATION OR THEY WILL EITHER BE GIVEN TO CHARITY OR A PART OF SUBURBAN REVIVALS INVENTORY. Reminders are generally sent after 180 days. Consignors may pick up their items prior to a reminder but must give Suburban Revival 24 hours notice of pick up. Items can be picked up Tuesday through Saturday during normal store hours.
